Magneto Optical (MO) Media

ASTI offers 5.25-inch Magneto Optical media for use in G-Series Libraries. This professional archive grade media has been designed to meet the rigors of library use and provides a data life in excess of 30 years. ASTI G-Series optical libraries support both UDO and previous generation MO optical media. This backward compatible strategy allows customers to maintain full access to older MO based data while using UDO for current demands.

MO media are available in WORM (Write Once Read Many) and rewritable formats. Capacities range from 1.2 GB to 9.1 GB.
