After purchasing the assets of Plasmon® in January of 2009, including the complete line of libraries, drives, media, parts, IP and related inventory, ASTI has become the established leader in professional data archiving achieving consistent and steady growth even when confronted with a weakened economy. Committed to the advancement of professional data archiving, ASTI continues to further enhance the proven line of Plasmon products while developing the next generation of ASTI-designed solutions that will meet growing demands as industries evolve. That level of commitment is exemplified by the recent introduction of Cloud-Integrated Storage solutions with optional FIPS-compliant encryption.
The spacious corporate headquarters is located within the Fairlane Technology Park in north Colorado Springs at the base of the Rocky Mountains, a highly desirable business location. The 51,588 SF corporate headquarters located on a 10 acre parcel, was formerly a CD manufacturing plant that has been revitalized and remodeled by ASTI in order to accommodate its global operations including manufacturing, technical services and support, sales, and marketing. The building also features a 15,000 SF manufacturing clean room with a spacious employee cafeteria equipped with a full kitchen in order to accommodate frequent employee gatherings. Employee showers are available for those who take advantage of the many hiking, biking and walking trails situated directly across from the Air Force Academy. In addition to the Colorado Springs headquarters, ASTI maintains offices internationally in the UK and Latin America.
